A letter to The Independent this morning tells us how British players in Malaga bingo halls seem to love Gordon Brown a lot more than they did Tony Blair.
A reader wrote to say that she often joins other British expatriates in playing bingo in the bingo halls of the Spanish Costas.
Before Gordon took power, any time ball number 10 was drawn, people would shout: “Blair out”. Now the number 10 is met with a respectful silence, she says.
