A security guard who was accompanying a bingo player to her car was shot and killed in San Antonio, Texas.
The security guard was helping the woman leave I-35 Bingo on the Northeast Side at the end of the evening when a robber ran up and shot the guard multiple times.
The man, who was in his late 50s, died at the scene. The woman, whose purse was stolen, was unhurt.
Police did not have a description of the robber who, if caught, will face a capital murder charge. He fled on foot and police urged anyone with knowledge of the incident to get in touch with them.
