BURGLARS broke into the Walker’s Bingo hall in Selby, north Yorkshire and escaped with more than £4,000 during a 4am raid.
The thieves broke into the hall, off Portholme Road, and stole cash from 11 slot machines as well as cigarette vending machines and change dispensers.
A police spokesman said it was believed the intruders first set off the alarm when they broke into the hall and then waited until a security check had found no signs of any theft before breaking into the machines.
